I can't seem to get cover on a 130 single cab tipper. All the companies I've tried will only insure a crew cab as a single cab is not on their systems.

NFU will not give me insurance as I don't have an existing policy with them.

Anyone know where I can get this truck insured?

sod NFU, theiving whatsits,

give adrian flux a ring, they do my 130 twincab for about 2/3s what NFU wanted,

i have also been stung by NFU after a car claim in the past, they told me i would loose 2yrs no claims when i had an accident, then scrapped it all and put my insurance up to £1100 per year! on a 1.4 peugeot

their business insurance is different but the car policies are by a third party insurer and they arent competitive, IMHO :)

you could try lancaster insurance as they are specialists in land rover insurance and advertise in all the land rover mags and auto trader.

i beg to differ....i just switched out private car to nfu as they were £30 cheaper than the competitors.

insurance is a funny thing, one person could get a completely different quote from another for the exact same thing, there seems no consistency

NFU have been great with my landrover as it turn out to have a false id the legal protection they offered is sorting out the claim to the dealer i bought it from. Any other insurance company would have said that i am sorry as the landrover is not the one in the policy we wont cover you for that. As long as they stay competive I will remain an NFU customer. Fully comp business use £230 quid for 110 tipper I can t see others getting much better considering I am 26.
