finished off our scheduled stuff last week. all done and dusted now.

Still at it. Using pot grown now rather than bare rooted. Hope to be done by another week or so.

Did a days planting for a mate yesterday. First planting I've done for about 4 years, enjoyed it but my back was agony all day

I try and get all done before March, I don't do that much. Its nice to get it out the way, once spring is here everybody wants it all doing at once.

 

Had a look at a job we finished in January today almost 100% in bud/leaf.

 

Another reason we finish early is clay soil and prone to summer drought round here.

Yup, the end of season rush. Gotta love it!!!

Had mine done ages ago. Noted the aspen buds are now breaking. Got a watering plan in place too - residents may be helping me out in places.

Only 3 cooking apples and a pear this year. Made a nice change not having the normal mad rush.

I think I remember you posting a tree planter a couple of years ago Charlie. Mechanisation is the way forward of site allows.
