Morning all this though has been playing on my mind for awhile.

I'm currently running a 2005 ford ranger double cab to deliver bags of logs and pull a 10ft trailer and be used for Arb work and going out any were if need be in it.

I can get 2 bags on the back of the truck with the tail gate down on small delivers pull them off instead of luging the big trailer round.

I was wondering if anyone has had expense with other trucks to see if they can get more than 2 bags on the back of there trucks, and if so what are they.

How much weight is there likely to be in 3 x tonne bags full of logs?

Just make sure you dont go over your weight limits!

You may also want to consider, if you havent already, the need for covering the tops of the bags with something like a cargo net otherwise you are more likely to get pulled over!

Even if you arent legally overloaded, driving around with what looks like larger loads with tail gate down is more likely to look dodgy to the authorities
