Art rope guide.

Hi everyone. Havnt posted on here in a while.

I did an srt coarse with mr Chris cooper abbs on saterday and one of the guys let me look at the rope guide he had. Looks a sweet bit of kit, just wanted people's views on it befor I buy one.

I like the cocoon just not the trapeze , it's clipped it self back in to the other side of the rope a few times now and destroyed it self when pulled out,about £40 for a new one so when it snapped last week I put a small accessory biner secured with a cable tie with a small cheap petzl pulley on and it's doing the job until I can track down an old style retrieval point thing.

Still would not work DRT with out one now.

It's got a bearing in the pully I believe. I've just replaced my old pulley saver with the rope guide, rope guide is a far better bit of kit. Easier to retrieve, easier to adjust and just functions better. Ddrt without a pulley at the top is a nightmare in my opinion!
