Ok on diesel, I buy them buy the bag and fit them on everything, even the telehandler.

They have a stepped inlet pipe so you just trim it off to go to the next size of pipe. They are worth fitting because if something conks out you can eliminate the fuel at a glance. Worth noting they are directional.

Thats me sold then. So on the chipper cut them into the line before the metal inline filter which itself is before the main filter?

Why is it that machines and tools only throw their toys out when there is no time to fix them?

On the chippers I put them in the rubber line that runs from the tank to the electric fuel pump , that way you are keeping the crud out of everything.
