any one used these ARBTECHNISCH spikes?

need some spare spikes for rescue etc found these ARBTECHNISCH ones on ebay. they are £80 delivered. too good to be true? anyone used them? normally climb off buckingham ones but been thinking i should carry a spare set with all my rescue kit etc.

Once upon a time, when I first started out climbing, I bought myself a pair as I was 18 and money was tight....

BIG mistake...

 

They are the most uncomfortable spikes I have ever had the misfortune to have strapped to my legs. Would be more comfortable to use cable ties to strap them on.

I once bought a pair a good few yrs ago and they snapped up a tree! Utter rubbish imo.

There were lots of reports of these spikes snapping not so long ago. I've not tried them, but given the poor feedback, I wouldn't climb in them.
