I have the smallest lasco cone on a 2.7 digger.

Can break down most lumps of timber, and can lift and move around most lumps of timber.

I've cracked open oak 1m wide. It might not be the quickest way of doing it, buts its done and my back is fine.

I have never used a cracker- but i wonder if they are limited by jaw width.

I wouldn't reckonmend a screw on anything other than a digger, as you need to alter angles all ways.

And the screw doesn't?

Screw can lift split wood and some bigger bits of whole fire wood but the jaws of doom can lift whole trunks if necessary. Both still follow grain to split, the jaws have advantage of crushing through knots.

Once that screws bit into something it can lift it

Looks good.

What made you pick cracker over screw?

Where you based?

You could do me a free demo

Hi

The forwarder was better suited to take cracker over the cone splitter plus it saves having one of the diggers tied up on firewood duties.

Im waiting on a new pipes as the ones to the relief valve kept on leaking, ends wouldn't seal.

Im based by Pitlochry, Perthshire
