With the modern engine repair additive stuff nowt can be guaranteed..... a mate gave me a lift in his smoking Clio a few weeks ago, was running on 3 cylinders, mis-firing and you could barely see out the back window for blue smoke.

 

He drove straight to the motor factors to pop in some engine repair additive and I said "it'll go bang within two days, you haven't a hope in hell!".... next day he turned up and it was running on all 4 cylinders, no misfire and clean as a whistle out the exhaust.

 

Maybe it's just a rad? Maybe much more?

 

Saying that- If it's a small, cabbed Kubota with expanding tracks I'd probably go for it, at the right price.

How on earth did it get a hile in it? I have never heard of that on any kubota engine. Something seems a miss to me, but I would still go for it.

When its running and warmed up check for the DEATH SMELL,if you don't know the smell take a Agricultural mechanic with you and he will tell if its been overheated.

We are going to go back for another look focusing on the cooling system, I had a look at at another one yesterday and it was nearly twice the price and apart from the obvious and the paint work there's no way it was twice as good. So the first one is defiantly worth more investigation.
