You can but it's not advisable, especially if it's under a lot of strain, they are cheap as anything and most bearing shops should stock them.

But not in a bank holiday Sunday, I was changing my belts and needed to remove the pulls.

If you do re use it like Johny said make sure it fits back exactly right, and get it changed soon as poss.

Put it under the grill hodge,it a a TW cheese melts! Sorry couldn't resist.

 

I did the same to a rayco grinder about 4 yrs ago,re fit it and do it up as normal and it should be fine,the taper lock will still work.

When I did my bearing I couldn't work out how to take the taper lock off so I rang the timberwolf technical line, they said nothing about having to get a new one when refitting?!

In the past I have always fitted a new one, however I was not expecting to be removing this:( anyway I have sorted it and she runs sweet as. I will get a new one sent on Tuesday.
