I think it will be a last of a breed of non at saws. Think i'll have to get one :)

But for 15-18" bar, most likely 18" so dont have to bend so much when cutting logs

I have the 65cc special one. Great saw. Dad uses it mostly now and only thing that went wrong was it needed a new muffler gasket. Simple bomb proof saw

I run a 365 xt on a 20" bar, 3/8 full chisel and it's great. I've ground off the fins in the transfer covers and it pulls like a train now. Only thing I find I have to watch is when starting from cold. It's very easy to miss the initi Fire when on choke, and then of course it can flood easily. I've got used to that now tho and love using it.

Just don't use the decomp valve, that just lowers the saws compression more on a saw that has low compression by design!

We have the same starting problem. Two of us have listened and would say that sometimes no audible cough. I think we might have to count number of pulls for best results. Changed plug, good spark, do not use decompressor, like it from new. When it runs cuts fine but it can wear you out before it starts.

I find that if I've not heard the 'cough' by the fourth pull, i kill the choke and another couple of pulls will do it. Any more than the initial 4 pulls on choke will flood mine, and it's a sod to get going after that! Of course, there's been the odd occasion where I've forgotten to reset the STOP switch, and it's never gonna start then! Thats what I love about the newer husky saws - once you've stopped them, they're ready to go with just a pull of the starter cord.
