More fake chainsaws?

Now, how did he know where to find someone who might buy a chainsaw, I live well off the beaten track, however, I had recently bought some gear from two large dealers, I think he got my info from one of them, but I don't know which!

I don't know where abouts you live eg, farm house, etc. But I'd have said that the dealers wouldn't give out details. "Manuel" probably thought, "Farm house + Out of the way = Need Fire Wood = Might buy Saw" Probably knocked on all doors in area seeing if anyone would buy. Best give neighbours or mates in area a bell and see if they have had similar. And I'd probably check all your gear is locked up in case he was casing the site. Hope that this is not the case but you can never be too sure.

they are made very cheaply in china... you can get them in pretty much any colour... and probably with any logo you choose...

 

they are about 50cc and a copy of a 20yr old zenoah(redmax) design.

 

they turn up regularly on uk ebay etc, in orange and white with a stihl 440 logo, and mostly orange with a husky 395xp logo.
