How much would a pollytunnel that size cost?

 

About two ford rangers.....

steve, i charge £65 for a m3, 2 other companies by me charge £75/m3

 

i'll charge what i think i can get, but in jan when i have dry wood i can charge what i like

 

i have bought in 75 ton of softwood this year, processes and dries quicker, sell a little cheaper..............and in jan when its all that is dry, sell for what i want

 

i work hard for my money, so i want good money, IMO i think you are a little on the cheap side with your price!

 

put your price up, if it dont sell by end dec i'll be surprised, if you still got it in feb it'll be the driest wood around

Most of the guys round here sell a transit load (approx 3 m3) for £100. Having said that, its usually been felled the day previous, and is just about suitable for putting your fire out.

 

The guy who is the most succesfull only deals in softwood, but always sells it bone dry.

nothing wrong with bone dry softwood, gives good heat

 

i sell fresh wood for £50-55/m3

I sell bone dry hardwood for £50 for 0.6m3 and it was slow early in the season, but once everyone had struggled with trying to burn unseasoned they started flying out.

 

This year I anticipate selling double what I did last year, simply because most of them now realise the difference between unseasoned and dry

 

I've two loads going out this week to regulars stocking up ready

About 2k new got mine on ebay used for £500. Had the bob cat 10 years now 13 excellent bit of kit.

your tunnel is far better than what i had in mind,is it your own design or is it a specific type?

The way i see it is.....your only in business to make money......if your not making any money in what your doing your either too cheap or not doing it right!

So you either oik your prices up or have to go about gettting your wood processed cheaper! ie get a few loads split end of a day or employ cheap labour to split it while your out earning pennies on taking em down!
