Has to be a Goose or Swan egg, one thing is certain though, you will be enjoying the mother of all omelettes for lunch today:thumbup:

Get it in the airing cupboard it could be your Christmas dinner :D A friend of mine used to keep a few geese and the eggs are really nice but one scrambled was enough for me and my missus.

Hi does anyone know what laid this egg.

It was just laying on the verge outside no nests or signs of activity.

Not a goose (goose eggs are pointier), and not a swan egg either I reckon as they tend to be a bit spotty and also pointier.

 

Unless the person holding it has tiny hands, I'd go with David's suggestions.
