No decent waves in this country for surfing imo, QUOTE]

Would beg to differ. It can be very hit and miss, but when it gets going there are some very good reefs and pionts in North Devon.

There are some spots that on their day are as good as anywhere. Millok, Porthleven, Greencliffs, Marsland, Sorefoot.......

You have to live near some decent breaks to get good waves and be ready to go when it's good. There are excellent days to be had in this country but they are sadly very infrequent.

There is just nothing worse... nothing at all worse than hearing "you should have been here yesterday..."

i have surfed for 3 nights in a row, just got out from an epic surf at Croyde 4ft pluss and very heavy. Its diferent if you live local, but if i had to travel every time i wanted to get in the water i dont think i would be as deadercated, i'm lucky it's on my door step.:001_tongue::001_tongue:
