  1. 1. How Much

    • Nothing! He's wasted lots of time and caused grief.
    • Piece-rate, £60 for the two days
    • Full rate, £150 it is the price agreed upon
    • Other, Please specify?

Oh and Daniel Bos, how are you? My husky is still living up to it's expectations!

Fine and Dandy thanks:thumbup1: Glad the saw is as expected, :001_smile:did you get the spare nuts I sent? (My phone drowned a little that day so any texts of eternal gratitude are forever lost in the textosphere as it took me a week to replace it...)

Stefan, I can thoroughly recommend Rachel. She works hard without complaining, appears to have a level common sense that is near extinct and is an entirely pleasant, positive person to spend time with.

She's a fair bit closer to you than she's to me as well, just make sure to give her detailed directions...

Quite right Village Idiot! Also what in the blue hell makes you think I would travel all that way, having met you on an internet forum to do work? You could be an axe murdering maniac for all I know!

He wouldn't dream of using an axe, he has chainsaws

Thanks Stefan, If you had a few days work for me I could probably justify the drive, I think your a couple of hours away which is nowt really. Digs aren't an issue in summer months. I tend to sleep in my big old volvo or a tent when away, I like a few days hard graft somewhere random, think it's good for the soul and it's always nice to meet you lovely Arbtalk folk!

Awsome, i give you a shout at some point

On your own head be it... You knew what he was like and you got him to work anyway. Whatever about his expenses, but in over here (Ireland), he'd have a legal case against you if you don't pay what was agreed. He'd definitely win in the small claims court and you'd have to miss a day's work to appear in court, plus his legal expenses.

If it were me, he'd be shown the door the second day that he turned up late.

well ive had Rachel working for me for the last two days and what can i say that others haven't yet. i will employ her again in a heartbeat. she has an enthusiasm that i have only come across a few times and a work ethic that seems to be dying out in this generation. she is friendly, polite, has a cracking sense of humor and is dead easy to get on with.

if i had enough work to offer her a full time job i would do so immediately as she impressed me that much.

oh and she is more aesthetically pleasing than most gorundies ive had the pleasure of working with
