Is your splitting area next to a power supply is so seriously consider electric wish I'd purchased a diesel gene and gone down that root. A merchant friend has his whole yard running on electric and he loves it. People can talk and answer the phone.

Had a Riko (Balfor) A11 VTR for 7 years now and have put thousands of tons throught it without issue; brilliant comfortable machine.

Ill second that, great splitter and Riko are great to deal with.

Thanks for all the help. In the end I went for a Multech. Its a better machine for what I want though the Riko is clearly a better machine if you see what I mean !

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
