I am 100% telling you it's part seasoned sycamore. Why is it likely to be horse chestnut in a wood? It's the reason I gave up asking questions you get 200 million different answers.

 

 

I've been in plenty of woods where there is Horsechestnut growing so I don't understand your post?

Same here, I had no ideas HC could not grow in woodlands???:confused1: Who knew????????:confused1:

 

Some one needs to tell the HC round here :lol:
