Timber theft

Recommended Posts

Been forwarding next to a canal and could not believe a boater tie up with his roof covered in freshly cut rings then gets his chainsaw out and starts cutting the 3 mtr lengths I am about to forward out. At least he had full PPE of woolly hat and jeans. Reported to site manager who had a word and he promptly untied his boat and moved to the opposite bank and carried on cutting someone elses pre cut lengths.

Bare face cheek

dont mess around phone plod and demand they are charged with theft and criminal damage, and dont accept no for an answer

Some timber was stolen from the opposite side of the rd from FTF's coupe which was reported to the police. They knocked on the blokes door. Made him pay £40 for the approximate tonne he stole and left it there. The woodland manager wanted to prosecute but the fuzz just wanted an easy life.

That's not acceptable.

The timber was stolen; it wasn't in the police's remit to turn this into a sale or determine the price.
