See the snatch type rigging on the main stem at the end, that's where I'd never use antal or x rings, they'd increase the risk of rope failure and decrease the rope's life expectancy re cycles to failure.

Re the rings, I hear you on that point, we had no choice but to snatch the pieces as opposed to letting them run. The pieces were well within the limits of the equipment used, plus it wasn't my rope...

Was the speed line rope tied off or just held, some off the sections looked a fair size.

The rope was held at the bottom by Kong himself. He is a bit of a unit, a bit hairy, dare I say it, Gorilla like?

 

Not sure where he got the idea for the company name though...
