Oregon Supersaw chain oil

If it were me I wouldn't have this problem because my New Years resolution was to stop buying anything from Amazon.

 

But on one hand it does look a bit naughty to be selling Oregon stuff that isn't Oregon - on the other hand Jon from Rye Oils seems to be going out of his way to fix the problem.

 

Give the guys a chance to sort it out, I say....

Hi Andy I understand your annoyance, I am a bit annoyed myself. Which is why I have spoken to the person in responsible for the listings. i am not sure why we have Oregon products listed because we have always blended our own lubricants and sold our own brand chain oil which everyone who has used it is happy with it. All I can do is apologize and if you want to ring the office ask for me and we can chat about it. If you want to use the product but you end up not being satisfied with its performance I will try and sort you out a refund.

Well after all the posts I ordered 25L direct from rye oil.co.uk and it works out at £12 per 5L much cheaper than Stihl oil which is around £18 per 5L. That includes tax & delivery to NW Highlands so a no brainer for me.

 

From my own experience of using Amazon to sell it is a pain and they take a fair whack from you. Much better to contact the company direct and give them the trade rather than some tax dodging multinational.

If you want excellent oil at the right money just contact Rye Oil directly - don't mess about with trying to find the cheapest on the internet etc. Their oil sticks like sh1t to a blanket and is cheap. They are nice people too - what else could anyone want from a supplier?!
