My spiderjack wont grab the rope when i put my weight on it...sometimes its fine then when you don't expect it same thing happens again and i have to push the tail of my rope away from me so it grabs! i don't wanna use it now for obvious reasons. The cam had being replaced not long ago, what else wears out? or what could it be? :confused1:

Did you have the same problem when you last changed the cam? How often are you using it? If you using day in day out they will wear pretty quick. The other thing to look at is your rope. How old is it? It could be just to stretched and worn and probley why it grabs sometimes and not others is when your rope is warm. Suggest change your rope.

Its not had that much hammer, i normally only use it on crown reductions etc...before i changed the cam it still grabbed the rope it just slid down it a bit, then i swapped it and as far as i remember it was fine. Rope is knocking on a bit, its not warn badly as i always use a cambium saver with it.
