A neat way to get around this issue is to simply use Aspen premix! :biggrin:

 

Perhaps; but I'd reckon on there being 2-cycle lubricants out there that outperform the one premixed in Aspen et al :sneaky2:

 

Hi octane fuel will only combust properly if you have enough compression to do it . That may be the case in your competition bikes but it wont be in your saws unless you are running them with pop up pistons . It is a myth that hi ostane runs cleaner and cooler . Its a marketing thing . You look at the numbers on the pump and automatically think highest is bestist ! Buy for court pump fuel and not supermarket fuel to avoid as much ethanol as you can .

Been holding off and holding off but just could not resist :biggrin: . More concerned about the wrong thinking about high octane ......

 

 

You'll never stop that! Every oil and fuel thread me and TCD post on ends with us trying to explain! Then two months later a new thread with the same questions appears.
