Done that, hope you find the results useful.

I have a small start up firewood business and am looking to extend my product range to include summer fuel, practically charcoal. Do you know of a bulk supplier so I can pack my own bags?

Daniel

Sorry just realised it's the charcoal you want!

Thanks Timbernut, I am comparing prices of whole sellers, with the idea of decanting it into smaller bags. I would prefer to deal with the charcoal burners rather than the importers, so if you are burning your own I would be keen to discuss. In the mean time, where do you get the spud bags from?

I get em from a odd little yard just north of norwich been goin there years, proper old fashioned agricultural engineer, cash only, bit out your way I reckon though! But any agricultural supplies place should be able to help. I'm sure there's burners who'd be interested in selling bulk, could be a tight profit margin (I don't make a fortune from it but it keeps me occupied😄)

I would recommend 'The Village Idiot' if you want some decent, British charcoal. I have been buying his stuff for a couple of years and he has never let me down on quality. It's at a great price too, but he is in high demand so you might want to get an order in early...

British charcoal is the way to go if you want to distance yourself from the competition. Imagine being able to tell a customer the post code of the British woodland the charcoal came from! They love it.

Good luck.
