Forst Tracked chippers

I bought a Schliesing 235 in 1990 and used every day it hasn't broken down once except one starter motor and a couple of batteries. Starts every time. I have just bought a tracked 235. It's unbelievably good. More expensive than the opposition but worth every penny and will go on forever (I hope).

 

Once you have had a Schliesing, no other chipper will compare, IMO they really are in a league of their own :thumbup1:

 

I would sooner have used Schliesing than a new chipper of other makes.

Not tracked though...Did you take all that timber off us from John Deere in Nottingham?

The finish on them resembles something from a 2nd world war Russian tank!

 

Just asking as I have used one for half a day and thought it was OK but never owned one.

I've just ordered a Timberwolf 230 VTR, it should be with me the first week of June. I really wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I had a good tour of the factory last week and saw how they are made, they are built to a very high standard.

How did you manage that Hodge I've been having regular updates from timberwolf regarding the new 230VTR, but they haven't given me the option to order one and still don't have a date on its release so they told me!!

There built in Suffolk and hodge is TW to the core!

stowmarket, Suffolk. I have always had Timberwolf, I like the brand and they are well made and British, the 230 is a great chipper, easy to look after and has an excellent cutting system. The roller box and rollers are well made with easy access anvil and blades, a very good chipping capacity and good back up should you need it.
