Hi Stuart infeed seems strong considering it’s not the thickest steel, high tensile apparently. Not had any blockages so far, the flywheel has paddles to throw out the chip as on the forsts. Pulls in viny material well and handles 6” timber no problem with sharp blades, not quite as good fork crushing ability as the forst equivalent but happy to trade that in for a reliable machine

Approx 2 18 ton lorry loads need collecting from a site clearance job in Peterborough this week. Timber is all hardwood, mainly ash birch beech and maple all over 12" diameter and cut to around 10ft lengths. Can be loaded up for you if needed. Anybody around the Corby area have a digger mounted flail or other equipment that could clear this stuff? Need it cleared to be able to grass seed the areas. I’ve been attempting with mini digger and saw but it’s a slow process

Ive had mine about a month, its a really nice powerful saw to use. Great for up in the tree. I've found if your logging up bigish timber with it for a while on a hot day it will over heat and cut out though, and occasionally for some reason it just decides it doesn't want to start and wont idle either.

100% dangerous I once landed a branch on an insulated power line when i was pollarding a willow on a windy day. It hung down and was crackling and smouldering away against the hedge bellow. Luckily a gust of wind fetched it down after a while.

My GM 150 is also looking a bit rough for a machine less than 2 years old. Paint seems to bubble up then peel off in flakes. Pete said he would come and have a look at some point so will have to see what can be done if anything. No help from Orange plant who i bought it from.
