Flyers are our best advertising, we get between 30-40 quotes per week in the summer and 20-30 in the winter. We put a LOT of flyers out though.

How many are going out to get that response? I've done a few batches of 5000 but not a great response

I suppose you put that you're charity on the leaflets though Ti? Does screw the results a little for those of us who aren't charities.

On our furniture donation flyers it's there in bold, but on our tree flyers and landscape gardening flyers it's only in small print. Sometimes being a charity can work against you..., people think you're going to do dirt cheap work or you aren't very capable, etc...

I have noticed over the years it's the repeated covering of areas with good quality flyers that gets the responses.

In other areas of the country we have found that just one run in an area doesn't yield that much, possibly because people might think that perhaps you are just a "fly by night" operation if you get my drift....

When they see your flyers more than once then it kind of sticks in their minds and they are more likely to take them seriously.

When I do quotes I'm often surprised by how many people don't realise we are a charity.

Do you find that works?? I could see people ripping them down as they would be unsightly

It's good to see in not the only one that thinks flyers is a good option, it's exactly what I'm doing and just ordered my first batch from vista print , most direct way to hit the customer and build a customer base up. Iv worked for company's that use this approach, and we was easily getting 2-3 quotes extra in a day from flyers alone
