Long Leg PPE Trousers.

Guys I wonder if you may be able to help, im just on the cusp of entering into the world of wood cutting.

 

I'm currently in the process of buying my PPE in preparation for my upcoming forestry and chainsaw course.

 

I am however struggling to find good quality 'Class A' trousers with a long leg of at least 34''.

 

It appears the great majority of trousers offered by the main manufacturers have a maximum leg length of 31.5''.

 

I can't possibly be the only cutter who is of the larger size.

 

With that in mind can the esteemed membership point me in the direction of a supplier or maybe post up a link or two.

Engelbert Strauss do long legs at no extra £. Very good value for money trousered they are too.

Iv had 2 pairs of Englebert Strauss trousers and they have been brilliant, great fit, dry well, last if you take care of them.

I have a 36inch plus leg and they just about do the job.

 

Or splash out on some pfanners which are available in 35inch I believe.

There are actually plenty to choose from if you have a scout about.

Are you just looking to use a chainsaw on the ground? Only I'd you fancied going on to climbing then you would need type C trousers. For the extra 20 quid it may be worth going for type c just in case

I managed to find a pair of SIP Innovation 11 at a reasonable price with 35'' legs so just the ticket.
