How much would you guys pay for larch in the round per ton delivered. Would you say £55/ton is a decent price and what would you sell this on for in the ton bags once processed.

All depends on how far the haulage is, £35 - £45 seems more in keeping.

If that's 55+vat then that's crazy. Delivered I have had £43+vat per tonne.

Distance hauled is crucial likewise what diameter it is too, chipwood goes down to 3", if you want 10 to 15" stuff for processor then that could've went as logs so has higher value.

Prices vary across the country I payed £29 a tonne road side for scots and larch before Christmas and since then paid £44 in the yard

Larch for biomass around Tayside sub £30 delivered in , mill wood last I knew had fallen to £45 delivered to mill.

Hi bought 90 ton mixed larch spruce all log and bar spec in 3m and 4.9m lengths

this month £27 roadside will haul it myself probably £10 or £12 a ton.

Would want realy good hardwood for that price derlivered in.

Reckon you would have to charge it out at £75 or £80 at that rate who is going to pay that for softwood.
