Pricing to fell a tree

Just received an email from a client stating that they have received a price of £750 to fell their sycamore (they havent said by who). I have viewed it but not yet had time to send a price and i find that £750 maybe a made up figure from the client? Details about the job (sorry dont have pictures always forget)

 

They have a Mature sycamore with a good size canopy. Access to the tree is a field but the tree needs to be rigged as one half is over a neighbouring cemetery and the other very close to some outbuildings with a paddock fence below the tree.

 

Fairly straight forward dismantling the crown and not so far to drag and chip. Removing all the waste from site.

 

Im not asking for prices or help with pricing. My question is what is your opinion to the above price? I think its slightly on the cheaper side for the amount of work required?

It's either a blag and the other firm are way over that price or they have gone in cheap as they are quiet.. You will never know I would look at that as being offered the job being told you can only have it should you beat £750 possibly match it. Your shout, maybe ask to see there written quote so you can make sure you are quoting the same? Let us know the out come.

Work out your price . If you cant do it for £750 politely walk away .

Fell or dismantle if it can be done in a day do it for 700 everyone happy surely.

Found a satellite picture which shows the area but not so much the tree although you can see the canopy size roughly.

I would like to know what time you think it would take and what ball park figure you had in your head if you think £750 is cheap then what were you thinking £950? Also going on your username your make on the logs and the chip?
