cheers lads the level of sympathy is staggering,note i did do it with a mans saw a ms880,can i just say that our old climber did something similar,he let go of the handle it flew back and smacked him in the old clacker bag,apparently he really did squeal like a bitch .

No mate, I've had one for 10 years too, without incident.

i have one and dont seem to have any trouble with it but i find its a pain in the arse to start from a rope and harness or even spikes , how do you guys find it ??

perhaps i was just unlucky,it hasnt happened since,but i recon if your honest then im not the only one to have done this,or mabe your all to butch to admit it.

so where do you learn to start an ms880 then , i didnt think that there were any course's that tought that . but im sure if there is an ms880 starting course then brian will be on it !!!!!!
