if we go for dry then technically it's boxwood or lilac as they weigh 61-62lbft3 which is nearly as heavy as water (62.4lbsft3) then down the list should go, laburnum 53lbsft3, apple 52lbsft3, eucalyptus 51lbsft3.

 

hornbeam, holm oak, plum and strawberry tree are all about 50lbsft3.

 

 

for a wet wood i'm going to say strawberry tree...
