Thats right Woodworks, its a place like no other, i could just sit there all day and admire, and i'm no stranger to the great outdoors, but i have to admit it was a hard day doing Bidean, i forgot to take a drink with me as setting off and remember eating snow to quench my thirst on top and that that was in May.

For me its got to be Glencoe in the Highlands, been there many times and never get fed up with it. So atmospheric to be hemmed in between moutains of 3500 ft on both sides. I hope to take my son there to do climb Bidean Nam Bean with me later this year as i did it on my first visit in 1988. Finest scenery in Britain.

Your not wrong, april-may, easterly, pre-midgie, cheers

Yep, it's an amazing place to live ! The pics were taken this summer. The lakes now flooded with all yesterday's rain and they had to evacuate the campsite at the end of the lake this morning at 2am !!

Use to spend my holidays at the mumbles head as a kid great memories

Spent a lot of time down there myself, remember good and bad times down there. Nevertheless it has to be one of the most stunning places in the UK.

Happy New Year LGW,

Hope things are going well for you and your family.
