i can honestly say your pile of misery looks a hundred times better than pile i have had in previous years. i only do for my own and family use, never sold a log yet so unless its truly junk or rotten i wont turn down if price is ok.

thats a good looking pile in my eyes, would keep my mum going for a winter or so - haulage kills lol.

if beer money guys want to slog through it, mix of splitter and chainsaw and sell dirt cheap then hey why not, its a win win deal. you clear yard and get cash, they get knackered kit and bodies and lil money in return - cant do too many loads like that i reckon.

Some of it is cracking wood you could turn up with a trailer and fill it with top quality fire wood (ash, cherry, robinia) if your interested I can send you contact details.

we call this the pile of misery! A mix of every thing we don't have the time to stack it and don't have the space to store it! Anyone have a idea of what to do with it I.e someone buying the lot off us? Thanks for reading!

If you were closer I would take some off you. I would even collect from your work site if it was decent stuff like beech, ash, oak, birch, syc, maple etc. Yes its a bit more work but its virtually free in comparison to cord. You dont need a processor. A decent chainsaw, 13 tonne vertical splitter and you are away. For a bit more luxury load the rings with a bobcat on to a big table or boarded over processor deck it saves your back and you will be surprised how much you get through I bet you are only a 1/3 rd behind a processor. Forget the horrible crowns chuck them on the bonfire. Some quality firewood there next year everyone will be killing for it in fact 6 weeks of frost now and everyone will be searching for the thread.
