Maybe you should have a few beers yourself and chill out.

You say your sales are down 60%.

To be honest, if your attitude in the real world is anything like it is on this thread, then I'm not surprised.

If word gets around locally that you have the HMRC on speed dial it wont help your business much either.

You need to look at YOUR business and see what the best way forward is, and stop concerning yourself with what others are doing/not doing.

em I guess you also didn't read my sales are up this year on last seems to be common thread in this to only read 50% of what I say. did I contact hmrc ofc not I went to my bed. would people care if I shopped anyone locally no is the answer I guess we move in different circles. as it seems I'm not allowed to challenge any of the statements made to me only answer them I guess this topic is exhausted.

I agree. I've been following this thread since it started, it's now not about the end of firewood, it is now getting to be a bitter rant against anyone who dare not agree with you. Many years ago when my grandad ran a company one of his friends who also ran a local company said to him about another man they knew who was doing some less than legal things, my grandad said to his mate that rather being worried about what the guy was doing he should concerntrait on looking after his own company. This has stuck with me and I now follow this advice. I really hope you haven't ruined the spirit of arbtalk with your call to HMRC about this forum.

I have no problem with people not agreeing with me just the way the write it. what they all forget is this was started as a suggestion but was immediatly turned into I was shopping everyone left right and centre and if you look back only 1 or 2 people bothered to take note that I was uncommfortable with the idea of doing it myself. if you come at me aggressivly face to face or in writting im going to respond in kind.

OK, reset to zero.

What is it you really want to say?

We all know that those who don't pay tax are not playing on a level field, but, personally I never let them bother me and in my sector, they don't feature.

You wound me up because you said you had sent the contents of this thread to HMRC. It turns out you may have been less than honest in this regard, so let's start again.

Over to you.
