Recommended Posts

hi guys last week i noticed that the bottom roler on my chipper looked like it had dropped on the right hand side, i have so far got the hopper off and taken the hydrolic moter off of the bottom feed roler etc etc but i can not work out how to get the bearing off of the hydraulic pump side of the reed roler , can any one shed any light on how to get the feed roler out and change the bearing ????

i woulkd look at the owners manual but that was lent to a fellow tree surgeon and never seen it again , i would be really greatfull for your help guys

many thanks Dave .

I think this has come up before on here, and most ended going main dealer to get it sorted i ma sorry to say. It seems that bearings on tw's are a bit of a prob. You chipperless until it is fixed?

i think i am going to have to hire one in sadly as we have to clear up a call out tomorrow :mad1: with a bit of luck i shoud be able to get it fixed for tues if i can order the parts tomorrow . The gutting thin is that i have got to the bearing but can not see a way of getting it out without the use of my air chisel ha ha :confused1:

Oh- an off the top of my head, if the bearings have a collar retaining them, undo the allen screw retaining them an tap them off by tapping them clockwise or anti clockwise as they are cam-ed on. This applies to lots of rotor bearings too.
