Hiab beats manual labour everyday of the week.

The cost of Hiab is nearly always cheaper and more efficient, plus the lads don't break their backs shifting the timber.

The job is done quicker.

The check is collected quicker.

The next job is done quicker.

The only time I would not recommend a hiab / crane is if there is not much work on the books and three days of lumping and cleaning timber out gives your guys guaranteed work.

Even then though I would still want some form of hydraulics.
