After 2 years with my stretchy marlow rope, I've decided that it's time to treat myself to a new mainline! :)

I'm hoping to head out on The Gambia trip and have been advised to take a 45/50metre rope. So just looking for some recommendations...

Been looking at the blue tongue which I've read good things about?

Could also do with a new short line too now I think of it!

I'm using a vt system on my mainline but a trusty prussik on my short line still.

I've been meaning to get round to buying another pulley etc for that so now seems as good a time as ever. Seen some awesome looking short lines on the thread recently, so any recommendations for those as well?

Brilliant, I'll get that ordered then! :D

What length strop do you guys use? I've found the one I've been using too short so was thinking 5 metres?

About five metres, but at least half of that is daisy chained up to my harness. I rarely use it.

The longer the better. I took a 60m when I went but you do pay the price on hiking the weight around. Mine had a baboon wipe it's nether regions on it
