take it off me watch list then thanks

May have been a little harsh but they were made in the days that the best top handle was the Stihl 020 . Then came the Huisky338 that had to compete with the Stihl ms200t . Here is where Husqvarna missed a trick / dropped the ball . The Stihl 201T came out . It struggled with performance trying to meet new / up and coming emission regs . Some how Husqvarna managed to make a saw that compared favorably with the out going ms200t . Maybe even cutting faster than it and meeting emission regs . Unfortunately they chose to make the chassis and body work from margarine and the bar from high tensile sea water which has let down a stonking engine . Stihl then thought we better fiz up this sluggish ms201 and have now produced one that makes the grade ( not sure if its widely variable yet ) ..........:001_smile:

335 was a turd probably one of the worse climbing saws ever made the 338 was marginally better with the weaker spots ironed out ,the last run of the 338's also had more cc's than the 200 but the saw suffered imo with the same problems of robustness that all the husky climbing saws seem to have.

I treat my 540 with kids gloves and it's been great one of the best saws I've ran ,infact it's probably helped me progress my climbing as your constantly thinking of positioning and not making sloppy cuts that could grab the saw and rip it apart!
