The Bone with new style bottom arm which supports the bottom friction pin better, if the swivel snap link was left inadvertently open. Also the upper release arm now has hard rubber nubs, which increase the comfort and act to prevent any potential cross-loading of the top and bottom arms.

Cheers very muchley Gordon, my BDB arrived today; what a beautiful piece of engineering.

Got a bit carried away, and went straight to the top of an Ash, and fell straight in love with it.

It makes climbing soo easy, if you are thinking about getting one , don't think, just buy

It's nice mate....better than tachyon is my personal opinion. Doesn't bounce as much. It's also really nice on my spiderjack . I prefer it to kernmaster...again my own opinion. All in all Its a really good all round rope. Come to think about it it was slipping a little with that rope when have the middle sized bollard in when all my weight was on it on descent. Think that will be either I need to try larger bollard on loose some timber ha

I love the Cougar but would hate to use it DRT. I love how static it is because I base anchor a lot.

I'm having a nightmare trying to stop my hitch binding up under my HH.

The way I see it now, this Friday evening is that I have four choices;

1: Kill my self.

2: Buy 1 metre of 10mm Volcano cord.

3: Drink myself to death.

4: Buy a BDB.
