What rope are you using John?

Tachyon seems to be the favourite by the chaps I'm America who have been on the BDB for months.

Been using cougar blue with mine on the next size down bollard. Seems to flow nicely and feels strangely like a hitch. Ascent is very quick compared to the wrench

Thanks guys. Still can't decide what rope to get though. lol!

Some of the Americans have been changing the attachment point for a swivel and love it. Someone suggested trying the swivel that you get for an ART Positioner and LJ.

Have you thought about doing this?

I found an old petzl swivel at the yard so using that on my bridge for the moment. ive added a small shackle in the hole that you connect your chest harness to as its slightly easier to clip in and out of

The Rock Exotica Nano swivel works like it was made for the Bulldog Bone, by all accounts.

It is simple to replace the teardrop attach point on the BDB, by removing the SS cotter and SS half link pin, and replacing it with the Nano swivel by inserting the pin and cotter through the small eye of the Nano. A swivel directly on the Bridge works just fine also with the BDB.

An OAR user put a LJ swivel on his OAR, however I believe that the hole in the LJ swivel is approx. 1/4", whereas the half link pin on the BDB is 5/16"

Matty, send Surveyor a PM.

Gordon makes them himself. Very easy to deal with, mine was in the post within 24hours of requesting one. You need to sign a disclaimer and provide some information and then I paypal 'd the money to him and it was in the shipping the same day.
