Anyonseen any decent LED spot lights rather than flood / work lights?

The ones listed above are indeed a spot rather than a flood.

When they come, look at the box. Odds are they will have the 60° box ticked.

I imported some 30° 48w ones from China- it was the only place I could find them. They excel in their current location on the back of the truck. On the tractor they tended to flood the bodywork too much.

If I were in your shoes Tom, I'd buy a couple of the 60° £20 48w ones. You will be amazed at how much light they put out, both close up and in the distance. They perform the roles of both spot and flood admirably on my machines.

I am looking for some headlights to go on my front mounted winch. The tractor has alternative roof mounted headlights with dip/main beams, but you get so much glare back off the crane and winch that I'd be better with lights mounted on the winch...

Gotcha. I use these

with success as headlights for my old tractor. However they're probably not road legal as they have no dip setting. Would work fine for you if you wired them just into the main beam circuit.

You want stuff for trucks, Commercial Body Fittings.

Bottom left front page 3200 lumen!!

I used their stuff when I converted an Iveco 75E15 7,5 tonner into a horsebox. No complaints from me on the quality of their products.

A friend of mine has those as work lights on the back of his Land Rover and they are very bright. They light all the yard up for a good distance.

One of the Land Rover magazines did a big test of LED spots and work lights last month. Very interesting reading, obviously the £300 Hellas and the like did very well :o There were some really top end bits of kit there as well as the £20 cheapies that wouldn't make you cry if you smashed one up.

The Chinese jobbies all tended to need a lot more watts to give an inferior amount of light.

I keep looking at the Durite and Britax ranges, they seem pretty decent in terms of quality and price

Why can't you see that Britax/Durite just buy the Chinese stuff and resell it? :confused1::001_rolleyes:

It's exactly the same stuff.
