Cold hands tips.

I found that a good way to overcome working in the could is to rub a little deep heat into your hands , if your climbing just try the backs of your hands BUT remember not to rum your face or eyes :-)

Almost as good as the old spice in your school mates kecks on swimming day , my father thought me that on and wondered why I had his old spice and did it lol

I got some seal skinz gloves I use, waterproof. Always suffered with bad hands and feet since I was a kid. Just recently started wearing thermal top and leggings, think it helps a bit. Had it before when hands get cold and they seize so much I cant open a carabiner!

Try putting latex gloves under your normal gloves. I used to do it when I was racing mtb on the cold days. Surprisingly affective.

I take Ginko Biloba too..it really helped my hands, but I stick my mitts over the saw exhaust on cold days too. Can't do much about wet gloves though...I always carry a spare pair and try and dry them out on the engine block...

...oh, and another tip, get an old pair of socks and cut the tops off, stops you losing heat out of your wrists...helps a bit on Baltic days...

Personally i never wear gloves, never think to take any with me, makes my fingers feel all thick and clumsy, but i do like to wear about 5 layers of clothing on cold days, .. but i have always been puzzled by lorry drivers stepping out of the cab ready to put gloves on even in summer time, and its not like they are going to do anything to get dirty as all loading is done by timber crane, its like getting out of you car to open your front door, and they all seem to do it. Why.
