Anyone else a fan of the Discworld series, I'm assuming there are a few here.

i started by reading 'Mort' last summer then flipping onto 'Making Money' while i was in Cornwall last summer. Ever sice i've been on a mission to read the whole load in order, I'm now about to start 'Jingo'.

I'm loving the easy reading (i read the Borne trilogy beforehand) and the wit.

anyway, i'm off to read

Is the Bourne trilolgy any good Jamie?

Any good? bloody brilliant, it's quite heavy reading. the first book has some similarities to the first film but the supremcy and ultimatum are completely different.

When i'm done with discworld i'm onto Catch 22 to try and get into it for the third time.

any other recommendations?

Jamie

Massive fan of the Discworld series, first one I read was Reaperman, then I read The colour of magic and havent stopped since. It's a real shame that Terry Pratchett is suffering from altzhimers.

have you tried any of the bernard cornwell novels such as the sharpe series about the napoleonic wars or the starbuck chronicles about the american civil war? he's also written some arthurian type books, the first of which i think is called vagabond.
