Hi all. Took down some large ones the other day & just wondered how suitable it might be once seasoned?

All wood when dry burns , some give off more heat than others . Once heard it said " when willow is wet its full of water and when its dry its full of air ! " If its dry it will burn . You may have to put a bit more on now and then .

No, terrible. If you tell me where it is, I'll do you a favour and collect it all for free to get rid of it. Dreadful firewood :tongue_smilie:

We have loads of it seasoned and under cover. Our preferred wood for our log burner as oak, ash etc all burn slightly too hot. With willow we can have log burner on with more air flow so glass stays clean.
