Sena helmet comms?

It appears that the Bluetooth unit is not available separately. Only everything else.

Annoying as one of my freelancers has the kit on his Protos but not the Bluetooth unit.

I want to buy three complete sets and one extra Bluetooth/battery thingy!

 

 

Check eBay for just the battery part. Mr Burch got one from there.

If you look on Amazon you can just get the brain as a separate section if you Allready have the mounting bracket.

And subbing in Jon Barnes as often as I do it seemed a good idea to get him a Sena set (minus battery). For 40 odd quid it keeps a lid free for one of the other lads to use.

Today a twig nudged the top of the unit today whilst I was climbing heroically and the battery fell out.

Luckily I found it but wondered if anyone has devised an ingenious way of securing it.

I have the 10s models.

Was it properly clicked in. I think they can still work, contacts in place, even if it's not quite fully 'clicked'.

Other than that I can't help, other than duct tape. 🤔

I'll look at spraying them a bright colour and see if I can find some elastic to wrap them to the bracket with.

Unless someone has a better idea.....
