Sena helmet comms?

They've been great Al. You have to watch how the wire for the earpiece goes into the earmuff as it is quite thin and breaks easily.

 

They are constantly on, but you can press the mute button if you want some peace and quiet, or turn the volume right down!

 

I would buy some more if I needed to.

We use our sets on Vertex

 

just ordered another set recently so that all of us are in the comms loop during operations that require them.

Communication is vital...especially roadside or high target concentration areas so these comms are a godsend..familiar scene of a double decker passing under a tree David! Excellent picture.

Not that I've noticed, but I'm deaf as an old door post anyway!

So should the choice be the SMH10:

SMH10 - Sena

 

Or the SMH10R:

SMH10R - Sena

 

I wonder if the separate battery pack of the 10R could mean better weight distribution in the helmet?

I also like the option of the wired microphone as it can be taped to the edge of the visor.
