Just checked, the wrap handle is set up, but the top cover in the latest ipl is not so there is no way it came from Distri parts.

My top cover is coming from the U.S.A. . OEM part not pattern . About £12 .

As far as I'm aware, the wrap is unavailable in Europe, unless the rant to husky Sweden actually worked?

 

I find it very odd if it can't be ordered - but you may of course have to wait a while if it isn't in Stock.

Niko, when I fitted the wrap handle to my saw, my dealer checked the parts ordering system, I called husky UK and contacted Husqvarna Sweden, I was told that the part was unavailable for the European market, if it's now available then they must have acted upon that request. If other parts are becoming available then there must have been requests for other parts of that saw. Hopefully the request for a jungle muffler will yield something!

OK, likely simpler to buy one from the US then - I had no problem getting the "562" (standard 7-spline) clutch drum here in Norway though.

I guess Husqvarna ( Flymo ) in the UK take the line that they have never sold this model so why should they set the parts up and order them, ranting at Sweden will make not an atom of difference, it would be like them condoning you boys bringing in models from the US, which is another sale they have lost.

Husqvarna ( Flymo ) You mean Electrolux ........The big H bought up Flymo ages ago . Electrolux is the overall body .
