Somehow, you made Marmite sound delicious. Is that even possible?

It definitely is possible. FTR anybody who enjoys a spoonful of marmite is best avoided :P mustard is best served with ham or beef, I have heard of ex-pats who have the stuff shipped over in crates, although the best stuff is Coleman's powdered stuff, has a good kick to it! I'm surprised that you don't have it over there, with Americas love of all things insanely hot!

I think the love of hot things is regional. Midwesterners are more of a meat/potatoes kind of crowd. Foods are often served bland at restaurants, unless you are eating at an ethnic one. There aren't too many of those in my area.

Sushi is my favorite food, but not too heavy on the wasabi. Pickled jalapenos are too hot, and I'm pretty sure they aren't considered all that spicy.

Whatever American sold "Freak of Nature" beer to Tim Weatherspoon, needs tramped in a hole.

7.5% alcohol and quite disgusting, I tried some last night, and this after a pint of quite strong hoppy Ale.

It wasn't me, I swear! I hear American beer is renowned for being awful. I agree with that statement, which is why I have only tasted in a couple times in my life.

Ye girl ye, America is hopping full of micro-breweries at present, get stuck in, though "they" sometimes appear to go a bit mad wit the Hops an overdo it.

Being an over-reaction to the usual mainstream over bland/tasteless beers.

Though one might as well drink cresote as some of the pungently hoppy beers.

Jalapeños too hot? What a wuss! I think the English mustard may be a bit too strong for you ;)

I have a jar of Jalapenos and put three or four on when I have a salad, they warm things up nicely. Corned beef or ham has to have mustard on and it has to be English preferably Colman's. We had Orzo pasta salad yesterday and it's nice cold and it goes with everything.
