Great satnav experiences

Drove to Folkstone the other week. My satnav (TomTom) decided on a shortcut via the Eurotunnel Freight Terminal. Stopped by the barrier & feeling like a complete idiot wound down the window, pointed to the satnav & started to explain to the woman. She cut me short & said "dont worry it happens all the time", gave me a ticket saying I had been rejected & opened the barrier.

I will probably frame the ticket.

I've been taken into a masive farm yard in Mid wales at 3AM stl being told to "follow the road ahead" when theres some huge gates and 5 or 6 john dears parked behind them in front of me...useless things, they only work if you already know where your going!

Mine tried to get me to turn right up a one way street. I ignored it and turned left. It recalcutates and says "in 300 yards, turn left" I go a bit further and it says again "in 300 yards turn left".

The evil little thing managed to send me back to the original one way junction and then tells me to turn right again. I'm amazed I didn't throw it out the window there and then.:sneaky2:
