Amateur topper!

Just got back from France.

 

Went into a local Stihl dealer to get a new spark plug for my father-in-law's saw.

 

Was examining a MS192T to see how it compared to the 200. Nice light little saw, but more plasticky and flimsy.

 

The woman in the shop thought I couldn't tell the difference, and went on to explain how the 200 is a 'professional' saw, whereas the MS192T is an 'amateur' saw!

 

Apparently they are really popular with the have a go brigade out there. I suppose it gives them one hand free to hold onto the ladder with!

 

Just under 400 euros for the 192.

My views on ladders are - if I can possibly use one I will!

 

Access only mind, working off ladders gives me the heebie jeebies!

i use 2 amateur saws almost every day and i must admit im not ashamed at all. they are both husqvarna 42 specil,about 10 years old and bomb proof !!nevr let me down yet !
